Michelle walked into Amoura's room to find Amoura sitting in front of her baby blue vanity eyeing the contents on the dresser puzzled.

Amoura fingered the eye brushes tenderly and picked up the lipsticks tubes with awe. She had never chosen to dress like other girls, since she was little she had preferred the boy clothing.

Now at nineteen she couldn't figure out how to put on make up without fear of making herself look like a clown.

Michelle walked up to Amoura and gently put her hand on Amoura's left shoulder. "Are you okay?" she asked gently.

"Never been better." Amoura said icily as she began opening a tube of lipstick and smearing it onto her lips as if she knew what she was doing. But really she didn't.

"Amoura, why are you behaving like this?"

"Like what?"

"Why are you doing these things? You usually pride yourself on not being conceited and worried about self image."
