The Diplomats Wife.

I knew from the start that I should be going to meet him, but I could not resist the temptation. I had met him two days ago at an embassy party; his handsome face and dark brooding eyes had fascinated me. I was also feeling extremely vulnerable, Harry, my dutiful husband was neglecting me, I suppose it was not really his fault it was just his bloody job. He smiled "Sorry if I startled you."

I shook my head "I was miles away, I did not notice you."

He introduced himself, "My name is Alton, and you are?"
