Sally and Jeb slept until 10:00 when the jangle of the phone woke them. Sally rolled over and picked up the receiver, "Hulllo."

"You sound exhausted. Are you all right?"

"Maybe I should come home," Sam said.

"No, no. He'll be all right. If he's not better today, I call and get some antibodies. He should be all right by Monday for school."
