Friday Afternoon BCC Campus: Ms. Locke's classroom

Ally stared lazy at her class work unable to concentrate. Why had she enrolled in Broward Community College like her mom asked rather than taking a year off to tour with her local band, "The Primas?"

The work was insanely boring and she wasn't interested in learning about trimetric.

The class had nothing to hold her attention. The room was vivid with old projects from former students and consisted of over a hundred desks and chairs for the college students. The front of the room had the typical teacher's desk, TV on wheels, black board and a worn flag hanging from a pole. It reminded Ally too much of high school and why she had wished every day of her life it would end. Of course high school doesn't go on for ever, it only feels like it. and when it had come to an end she had thought of spending countless of hours with her band practicing, not attending more classes at the local college.

"Miss Bradford, are you taking down any notes?" The teacher, Ms. Locke asked as she drew her piercing blue eyes onto Ally.

Ally looked up as she felt the gaze of her class mates on her. "Yeah, B formula equals C and D formula..." Ally said slowly looking down at her notes. ...
