After several somewhat hectic weeks, Becca was rotated away from the hospital, as the new wave of student nurses and junior doctors arrived at the hospital. Although we still met up socially every now and then, and generally proceeded to fuck each others brains out, I sorely missed our highly-charged sessions during working hours.

It came to my attention, however, that the new wave of nurses were slightly different from before. My colleagues in the Tech Support department had been commenting on the fact that several times they had got the impression that they were being checked out by the new staff, as if they were looking for something, and not finding it. I had spent the previous week or so in the server room, doing some long overdue maintainence on the servers (as anyone from the UK can testify, our NHS is strapped for cash, and several of the servers in that room were barely worthy of the name anymore). I decided to get back to doing user calls, and see what all the fuss was about.

2 days later, and I was under the same impression as my workmates; something was going on. Several of the student nurses had been giving us very frank appraisals, and simply smiled if we returned the favour. Even then, it took us a further week to discover the reason....
