"Shit" I muttered to myself. I was looking forward to spending the weekend with my daughter Angela. She was supposed to come home from school and go into the city for dinner and a show. Now I had two tickets to 'Wicked' and I did not feel like going by myself. Knowing my daughter, she'd ask me how it was and what it was about and I am bad at lying.

It was 3pm and she was supposed to be home now and we were supposed to start getting ready. I went about getting ready, spending time on grooming my sideburns and shaving and all that. Felt like a million bucks getting into my gray pinstripe to celebrate my 42nd birthday alone. Ran a comb through my hair once and grabbed my keys to head into the city. Figured I could get a drink or two before I sat down to dinner. I walked out the back door and around to the driveway to see a red ford mustang blocking my volvo. The woman behind the wheel was breathtaking as she put an arm out the window and motioned me closer with her finger.
