"Andrew called" was what the text message said. I wrapped up my meeting as quickly as I could and called my lady. She told me that we were going to Vegas and that she'd meet me at the airport for a 3 o'clock flight. I rushed thru my afternoon schedule and dashed to meet her.

When I arrived at the gate I saw the usual 20 or so business travelers but no Lisa. I confirmed with the agent that I was at the right place, so I took a seat and waited. I knew our flight won't leave for another 10 minutes or so and I figured that Lisa was either running late or in the lounge. After a while we started boarding but still no Lisa. Then as I was settling into my seat, I saw Andrew and Lisa board the plane. She looked stunning, dressed in an outfit I had never seen before. As they made their way down the aisle, Andrew stopped and talked with the stewardess. Lisa slipped past me to take the center seat. Andrew came up and asked if I would take the window seat so he could have the aisle. Once we settled in, had our safety briefing and taxed out, we were underway. I asked Lisa what the plans were and she told me that we were going to a convention with Andrew. She told me that he had met her at the gate and had a drink while waiting for me. We continued our chit-chat until the stewardess offered drinks. We each ordered and Andrew told us of his plans. Our flight was short and uneventful and when we landed we were picked up and driven to the hotel by limo. Andrew gave us VIP passes and explained that we could go anywhere we wanted and that everything was on him. He told us to settle in and enjoy the rest of the day and tonight and that he would see us tomorrow ...
