The alarm went off, sending its piercing, wavering electronic tone throughout my bedroom, scaring the shit out of me. I jumped out of bed and unplugged the motherfucker from the wall and sat there on the edge of my bed, waiting for my racing heartbeat to calm. I was deeply immersed in sleep and that fucking thing pisses me off every morning, but this morning its tone meant not only waking up, it meant waking up and going to school.

The summer had slowly came to an end, the last summer of my high school life. Today I was a senior, starting my final year of the concentration camp that I referred to as school. Not that I found school hard, it was just a stifling atmosphere and in fact was too damn easy. Public education is falling apart by its bindings, but this is a sex story, not a public sermon, so I’ll shut the hell up about that.

I had spent the final days simply working at my job at the local McDonalds, waiting for my summer to run out. I was actually sort of anxious for school to resume just so I could break up the monotony of working everyday, which was a sad glimpse of what was to come after college.
