I loved being a college student, I loved the atmosphere, the learning, and of course the parties.

I picked classes based on what sounded interesting as opposed to what would get me closer to graduation.

My passion was politics and specifically Latin America... In the end my advisor and I sat down and decided what degree I was closest to getting. It turns out that was International Studies.

That means I can tell you all about El Salvador's Civil War in the 1980's but that I wasn't really qualified for a job... Looking back I guess I should have planned things out better, but it was a fun 5 ½ years of my life, regardless.

I guess it should come as no surprise that someone who couldn't pick a major also had trouble picking a career... I tried a little bit of everything but I could never go more than 3 or 4 months without getting bored and restless.

Then one day my career found me...

I was out searching for an apartment, but unfortunately my job changing and mountain of student loans had left me with shaky credit to say the least. ...
