The Strip, Part 1

As Sterling prepared for her last set of the night, she thought about the past 5 years. It was amazing how much she had accomplished, although most wouldn't look at it as much. It was 5 years ago today that she walked into the Pink Obsession Strip Club looking for a quick and easy way to make some money. She had started out as most strippers do, trying to make money while putting herself through college. At the time, she didn't have a definite major, except for cheerleading and spirit dance, but she needed some way to bring in some money, and with a history of dancing, this seemed only natural. How was she to know that when the Head cheerleader found out she was stripping that she would get bumped off of both the cheerleading squad and the spirit dance team? She had been devastated when that had happened, to the point that she sought comfort from her fellow dancers, and ended up quitting school all together. Now, in 5 years she had accomplished more than she would have, had she stayed in school. She had quickly moved up to the main attraction, and became the longest staying dancer. She lived in a fancy apartment uptown, drove a nice little Corvette, and had bagged one of the most eligible bachelors in the city.
