Joggers Trial

Chasity lived for the run. Her feet hitting softly on the pavement and grass in constant rhythm was the best song she could think of. It felt good to be alive as her heart pumped and sweat poured. Her body was hot and her muscles tight as she ran her nightly run through the local park down the street. Some friends of hers considered her strange for such nighttime runs, but the slight chill in the night air was a welcome and constantly kissed her skin as brush and tree disappeared behind her.

She moved nimbly around the few people still frequenting the park, some smiling and nodding their heads as she passed. A few of the more obvious men openly gawked at the sports bra and shorts she was wearing as she passed. She always offered them a polite and devastating smile and added a little more swish to her movements to ensure that they looked long and hard as she left them behind. Her ponytail beat softly against the back of her neck, the slightly longer hairs tickling a bit with each bounce. Her body was toned and dark from the Florida sun and she knew she could stop hearts with a blue gaze and a movie star smile.
