I was on my way to my cottage one late summers evening driving along a well known interstate highway. It was a trip not unlike many before that I had made to my summer home. This one however would turn out to be quite different.

I had been traveling in the dark for about two hours when the first urge to urinate arose. I decided to start looking for the next exit that had signs of a gas station or restaurant. I wasn't in any desperation yet so I knew that I could wait until something came along. After traveling about another ten miles or so I seen the sign for a Rest Area. This would work for what I needed and would probably be faster too so I decided to stop and relieve myself. It was late at night by this time and as I came to a stop in the parking lot, I noticed that I was the only one there. I didn't see any other cars or people around. This made me a little nervous and as I walked into the building, I found myself looking over my shoulder to make sure that I was all alone. I found the men's room door and walked directly towards it. I pushed on the door but was totally unprepared for what was about to happen.

Perhaps a little about myself is in order, to help explain what was about to take place and why it affected me like it did.
