Barry had never been to a NASCAR race before. He wasn't really into the sport but a friend had an extra ticket and asked him if he would like to go. He didn't have any plans for the weekend so he had said yes. Now he was regretting his decision. It was ninety-five degrees outside and humidity was fifty-eight percent. Between the heat, the noise, and the flying chicken bones it was unbearable. He couldn't understand why anyone would actually pay money to go to one of these things. It was only a quarter of the way through the race and he wished he was sitting in a nice dark air-conditioned room somewhere...anywhere but at the speedway.

It had been an uneventful race and he was bored out of his mind. He thought it would be a good time to go to one of the concession stands for a nice cold beer. At least they were in the shade and it would kill some time. He made his way through the seats and up what seemed like a million concrete stairs. Sweat was pouring down his face by the time he finally reached the concession stand. He walked up to the lady behind the counter.

"I would like the largest, coldest beer you have in the place."

The lady handed him several napkins.

"You look like you could use these."
