It had been a long day at work and I was tempted to head home to relax rather than attend my friend Tom's holiday party.  But I said I would be there and due to work I had not seen much of the group lately. So I decided to make the effort and headed to his place.

As I walked to the door I could see that there had been quite a turnout. Through the windows I could see the place was packed. After finding the host to drop off the obligatory bottle of wine I had the bartender make me a margarita and then I started catching up with friends. Most of my closer friends were there, but due to the size of the party there must have been forty people there that I did not know. Many of them very attractive women. Tom has always worked hard building a large social network which always included a bounty of beautiful girls. Somehow each year as several of the women dropped from the group by moving or getting married, Tom had always managed to bring a new batch of girls to the group, usually younger than the rest. I have never quite figured out exactly how he does this but I have enjoyed the fruits of his labor. This party was no different. Lots of new faces, almost all pretty hot.

Tom owns this big beautiful place in the marina. Three floors with lots of open space, several bedrooms and a great rooftop deck. I made the rounds of the place, chatting with friends, meeting some new folks, and making more plans for the holidays. Very early on I noticed one woman in particular.
