As they came closer to Marilyn’s apartment door, Sean wondered her real intentions for bringing him there. Marilyn was never known to be the type of person who would suddenly invite a man into her world without a reason for doing so, nor was it something she did often. Those men who had once captured her interests were few and far between; however, those who did become her lovers never knew anything like her before, or after the enchantment was over.

“Hello?”

“Sean, it’s Marilyn. You know those notes we took for Mythology yesterday?”
