Carefully, very carefully, I walked down the stairs.

My makeup was picture perfect, eye shadow highlighting my lids with eyeliner to add definition to my already large hazel eyes, just a hint of blush on my cheeks, lips covered in smooth wet red lipstick, his favourite.
