I awoke from a sound sleep. There was no noise, nor disturbance. No dream had roused me. Then I felt a presence in my room. Surprisingly, I wasn't at all frightened when I turned my head to see a face in the dim. The candle in the room only partially illuminated her. Her?

"Hello, Andrew", she said softly.

"Louise?" I asked, still groggy.

Her touch on my arm was warm and gentle. She whispered, "Don't be afraid. I've come to help."

Her face was mostly obscured by long dark hair. Without much light it was hard to discern much more than the shape - more long than round - angular... Not Louise.

"What?", I mumbled, still more asleep than awake.

"My name is Ellen. I'm here to offer you help. Help in finding the healing you've been praying for", she said softly.

The darkness seemed to lift at the sound of her name. She was kneeling ...
