On the face of it, Maria had it all. Having been happily married for fifteen years to a wealthy businessman, and with three lovely children to show for it, she lived a comfortable life in a large house at the posh end of town. She drove an expensive car that was updated every year and she moved in the sort of social circles that proved she had made it.

As is often the case however, under the surface things were not as they seemed.

Maria's husband, a Saudi national, regularly travelled abroad on business and was normally away for three weeks every month. Whenever he was at home, he assumed command of the family. His background made him outwardly domineering, and yet at heart he was a kind man. He expected Maria to dress in plain black whenever they went out together, calling her a whore if she dared to wear anything bright that might attract the ‘wrong' sort of attention. However, offset against his in-bred male arrogance was a warm heart and Maria was certain that he cared deeply for his family.

Maria knew that her husband's business financed their lavish lifestyle, yet she resented the amount of time he devoted to running it. She was a highly sexed woman who by now had spent many years staying at home being the dutiful wife, looking after the children. Right now, she needed her husband at home with her, but it just wasn't possible. ...
