It wasn't that she'd tired of Danny, his foul mouth and generally aggressive nature. Shana simply wanted more. She 'tried' different guys in college like trying on clothes, but none seemed to fit her style. Most were only interested in getting off, drinking beer, or attending some sports event. College was quite different than high school, and she had to make a few major changes to keep up her grades. She had to actually study. She had to read. She couldn't get by on sultry looks and subtle tricks she'd used in the past. Professors didn't hand out grades because she spread her legs in the front row during lectures. If she hadn't had such a single-minded obsession, college might have been easier, but she intuitively knew that knowledge was power and power prevailed in the material world. She didn't intend to end up being a constantly pregnant wife, dependant on some man for a roof over her head. She wanted more out of life. Though not quite sure what or how, she knew she'd get it. ...
