Chapter 4 - What If I liked you?

For the next three months, Aisha and Simone lived on a routine. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays Simone would leave early for school and work a double shift at a local Fridays and Aisha would take care of cleaning the house and buying groceries. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday mornings Aisha would go to school and work a six hour shift at the local gas station as a cashier and Simone would clean the house, buy the groceries, take their clothes to the laundry mat down the street and have dinner on the table by eight. It was a pattern that worked well with both girls. Sunday mornings was the only time Aisha and Simone rarely spent time together. Simone would go to her catholic church and spend the day attending church functions. Aisha never went, although Simone had asked Aisha a couple times out of courtesy.

As days turn to weeks, and weeks into months, Aisha began feeling something strongly for Simone that she believed Simone felt as well. If Simone felt the attraction between them she never made it obvious, while Aisha on the other hand struggled not to make it painfully obvious. Aisha still hadn't confessed that she was a lesbian. She didn't really feel there was a need to explain something that Simone would not understand.
