I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave me positive feedback on my last story. This one has one feature the last story didn't have, in response to one perticular piece of feedback I got. I hope you recognize it. Thanks!

I said as I rose from the conference table. I smoothed my skirt as I stood up. I turned to pour myself a glass of water and took a sip. I am the owner one of the largest marketing firms in Chicago. I started working for men who felt I wouldn't be able to pull in the big jobs that men could. I busted my ass and worked my way to the top. Then I did it myself. At thirty-five, I was very happy with where I was.

Looking at my watch, I realized I had 10 minutes to make it top my office, before my appointment arrived. Gathering my files, I made my way to my office. "Hey, Maggie." My assistant said, looking up from her desk. "How'd the meeting go?"

"Just as well as expected. Mark had some awesome leads, so things seem to be going well." I answered, while looking through my messages. "Is he here yet?" I was referring to my 4:45 appointment. I always scheduled interviews as late in the day on Friday as possible. I figure if I can get someone to show up at 5:00 on a Friday afternoon, ...
