On a warm spring evening Caitlin enters her home after a long day at work. As she closes the door to the little place that her and her best friend Renee share, al she could think about was sitting on the soft couch and relaxing.

She crosses the room, leaving her keys and purse by the entrance and makes her way to the fluffy beige couch. She had only been sitting there two minutes when Renee sauntered down the stairs from her bedroom. She sees Caitlin there and walks over to her.

Caitlin and Renee had been best friends since high school and have lived together for the past year. For Caitlin this was no big deal because she was just glad to have the freedom from her mother. She now coud do whatever she wanted with no questions asked. Over the past year Caitlin had had just a couple of boyfriends but nothing serious. For Renee this living arrangement was a little tougher. She had always been attracted to Caitlin, but never had the nerve to tell how she felt.

Up in her room earlier that night Renee had made the decision that she was finally going to come clean with Caitlin and tell her how she felt. That was easier said than done because as crossed the room to Caitlin she was quickly losing all of her nerve.
