My wife Jen and I have been married for 12 years. I work at the local University in the Maintenance dept and she stays home. We have no children. About a year ago I decided I wanted to get into real estate to save for retirement. We purchased a multi room home that we would rent out to University students. the place was cheap and Jen volunteered to be the 'Landlord" and collect rent and basically look after our investment.

What happened after that is a very interesting story....

Jen ran an ad in the University paper and interviewed potential tennants at our home during the day...she gave me updates in the evening when I got home. We had 5 rooms available and the house had a common kitchen etc. Jen spent a good month coming up with 5 suitable candidates.

" Well...I think I have found the last one" she announced one Friday evening when I came home. "His name is Jason and he plays on the football team." she explained.

"Boy...is being an athlete part of the criteria"? I asked....every spot was filled with a guy on either the Track team or Football team...I had never met any of them but she had given me the updates as she selected them.

"No...but athletes are healthier and probably less inclined to trash the ...
