Lana glanced at the clock. 5:30. 'Once again, I'll be here late.' She thought, 'And my friends wonder why I'm single....' Lana looked around the office to see who else was working late. The only person left was Shawn, the relatively new guy. Shawn had started at the editing company about a month ago and Lana thought he was kind of cute. Not exactly her type, he looked a bit too straight laced for her. The company they worked for proofread and edited short story submissions for a small town magazine. They were the final eyes before they hit print. This was the reason Lana knew she'd be there for at least another 2 or 3 hours, she still had about 6 more to go.

Shawn walked past her desk and Lana couldn't help but admire the way his pants clung to his ass. 'Round and firm looking like a woman's' She thought to herself. Then she bent her head back over her desk and got back to work. About 20 minutes passed and Lana noticed shawn still had not returned to his desk. "He must've gone home, lucky him." She said out loud. Then she heard footsteps behind her and turned to see Shawn standing there with 2 cups of coffee and a take out sack. "Thought you might want sustenance too, so I grabbed an extra coffee and enough food for 2, hope you like turkey on wheat." He smiled and handed her a cup. Lana smiled back, "Thanks cutie, I'm not hungry right this second but the coffee is always welcome." All Lana could think about was how it would feel to kiss those full cupid's bow lips. 'Good grief, what the hell is wrong with me, I've never really paid him more than passing attention.' ...
