The Realtor

It's on the second date that you start to get a feel for a woman.

The first date is all politeness and the best foot forward and a little give and take flirting perhaps, but the second date? That's when you start to get a sense of her as a person and you begin to see if the chemistry is more than a flash of fire before it flames out.

Suzanne and I were halfway through our second date, and I was beginning to think perhaps this fell into the flash in the pan variety of second dates.

We met in a parking lot - a case of mistaken identity. As I got out of my car, I saw a pretty face across the lot and smiled. She smiled back and got in her car and drove off. Happens every day.

But a few minutes later, on the cereal aisle, I see her walking towards me, a puzzled look on her face. "Do I know you?" she asked.

I laughed. I explained that I am a photographer, and I probably notice faces more than most people. "Yours is particularly nice." I said. "I'd bet the camera loves you. And the thought made me smile."
