CROSS COUNTRY ROAD TRIP-Part 4

This is a repeat of Chapter 3 from June's point of view

I was still a bit fuzzy headed when I headed for the ladies room, but I had to go. I did what had to be done, and was coming out of the restroom when I heard a woman's voice, in obvious anguish, as she put the phone back on the cradle.

"That's just freaking great. Now what the hell do I do?" The last words were tinged with the tears she was fighting and I'm just enough of a compassionate woman that I had to see if there was anything I could do to help. When I turned around I saw this absolutely lovely angel, leaning against the wall next to the phone. Now I had no choice. I absolutely had to try.

"Honey, I don't mean to butt in where I'm not wanted, but is there anything I can do to dry up those tears?"

She tried hard to smile but it just wasn't there. "Not unless you're a mechanic with a car full of the latest tools and parts for a brand new car."

"Do you want to talk about it?"
