Last week was the week from hell. Both at home and on the job. You need a little background. I got the results of some tests, and they were not good. My meds for diabetes, aren't working and my kidneys have damage. No, I'm not a lazy fat slob. The steriod injections for 2 herniated discs, have stopped being as effective as they were a year ago. Plus the capilaries and veins in my damaged right leg can't remove the fluid that collects in my leg during the day, even elevated at night, and they have started breaking, leaving little blood clots under my skin that look like bruises. Yeah, yeah, I'm 57 and falling apart. There was some good news, well kinda. The absess in my right sinus has grown into a tumor and is pushing on the back of my eyes. After 20 + years of pain meds, they had ovalled my eyes a little and I finally had to start wearing glasses, but the pressure has improved my vision. Oh, yeah, it has also infected the bone in my face, and the hole they bored inside my right nostril to improve my breathing, is closing up. Oh, for all you nurses out there, yes, I've had 3 operations on it. The good thing is, no pain in my face. They tell me it has spread into my brain, and in a year or so, well I guess you all can read between the lines.

If all that wasn't bad enough, my 3rd daughter, on her 18th birthday, and during the last week of school, for her senior year, got caught with 2 roaches, a blunt, and cirgarettes right after taking her final english exam. Automatic 10 day suspension, and expolsion. Plus the Police were called! AND She FAILED the damn Exam with a 68!!! ...
