I used to go to classical music concerts in Birmingham and one year got a season ticket which meant that I sat in the same seat every week. Sat next to me was an elderly matron in her sixties. Elizabeth was quite well built, very pleasant and wore the sort of dresses that were last fashionable in the fifties. I found her very easy to talk to before the concert and during the intervals.
