AUTHOR'S NOTE: The inspiration for this particular story came to me on Halloween, and I sat down and wrote it that very evening, in one writing session. That's a rare thing for me; I usually take several long sessions to produce a story.

The woman in the story is fictional, but her costume is based on a costume that I saw the day I was inspired to write the story.

This is my first effort at telling a story from a first person female perspective, but I think I've done a fairly good job with it. Please send me feedback and let me know what you think of it.
