Getting Reacquainted

Claire and I had been sleeping together, on and off, for a little more than five years. Whenever neither of us were in a relationship (or, on occasion, whenever one or both of us were in unhappy relationships) we were always available to satisfy the other's needs. Our lives and personalities were different enough to make a romantic relationship between us impossible, and we knew that our paths would take us in opposite directions after finishing graduate school.
