"Leon!" Audrey screamed as time seemed to slow around her, leaving her to watch as the monks weapon drove through the flesh of his shoulder before she flung him from Leon. The other two falling back as a wave of power rippled from her like a tidal wave, knocking them out into the hall to crash against the far stone wall. Convulsing before they vanished into dust, the dagger wielding enemy gone as well.

"Shit..." Leon whispered, the daggers entrance then abrupt exit causing his blood to pump from the jagged wound just below his shoulder. Swallowing hard as he turned to look at Audrey, reaching for her as the world tilted on it's side and the lights seemed to flicker. "Have to go, not safe here." He'd promised to protect her, he had to get her somewhere safe then he could work on his wound.

"Jesus Leon..." Stepping toward him to take his hand before she caught him against her chest as he fell, his weight pulling her down as she tried to lower him to the floor as gently as possible, twisting him carefully so she could look at the seeping wound as blood ran in a near stream from him, covering her fingers quickly as she clamped her hand over it to staunch the bleeding. Wincing as he hissed beneath her as she closed her eyes, drawing every ounce of power she could before allowing it to light her palm. He was badly injured, it would take a great deal to heal him, the bleeding slowly ceasing as the edges of the skin began to draw together. By the time she'd closed the wound she was alittle more calm, his color easing back as she finished healing him ...
