I call them Asian pears.

Not the kind that you see at the supermarket in fall, although those are nice too. No, these Asian pears are cultivated to stimulate different senses. The perfect Asian pear is a blend of contradictions. Sweet and tart, crunchy and soft. She has both obedience and skill. She is virginal but well-practiced.
