Shit I thought to myself. Aaaaah, I'm dumb. So dumb.

I was walking back to my dorm from my English Literature professor's office where he had just informed me that my paper was a C paper, and that if I didn't ace my final exam, I would be ineligible for the Sportsman Scholarship I depended on to stay at my fancy ivy league school. The scholarship required a minimum in grades and athletic achievements but requires you to excel at one or another. Obviously, I wasn't exactly excelling at my studies. My only other option was to start another sport.

The Scholarship required a 3.5 GPA and two major sports. I then either needed to raise my GPA to a 3.8, or excel in another sport. They monitored my playing time as well, so I needed to get good. Tennis and Soccer were my two required. I decided to try out football. I used to play in high school a little, so I figured I had a good shot with it.
