A Helping Hand

Sue and I had been friends for about 18 months when things took an unexpected twist; Sue had come into my work for a coffee before going to meet her then boyfriend. Sue for the first time in her life was running early something that Ian her boyfriend never did, Keeping her waiting on many occasions, usually showing up 45 minutes late with some lame excuse.

"I'll have my usual, although this time I think I should pay for it" As I swung round Sue stood grinning at me.
