The Bookstore Chapter 16

When Jeff's driver had returned Mary to the school the door was locked as predicted and when Mary approached the door the electronic transmitter in her charm sent the appropriate signal to the release mechanism and Mary was granted access back into the building. The driver waved as she entered and then drove off. Mary made her way to her room and stripped she wanted to take a shower. Not that she wanted to wash Jeff off. Just that it had become her habit to clean up often to be prepared for any activity that had selected for her. After taking her shower and cleaning up Mary went to bed, she slept soundly and had to be awakened the next morning by Rose.

Mary had reached the end of her stay at the school, she had been there about a month and it was now time for her to return to the outside world. Mary was now getting concerned about what she would find when she returned to the world that she had unintentionally left. Two nights ago several of the people that she had worked with and been trained by gathered to wish her well. She felt a kinship now with these people, mostly with 16 and the gentleman that she had met at the hotel and later for her final exam as it were. Last night she found out who sent her, at least she thought she did. She still had questions.
