EDWIN'S ECSTASY 4 BY WILL BUSTER

The main hall was gloomy and almost forbidding with deep, mysterious shadows sparsely illuminated by a few torches and the faint glow from the hearth. Edwin was able to let his mind wander with comparative ease in the now quiet room. The dog Edwin was still petting, growled a little and its ears pricked to attention at the unexpected arrival of the serving girl. Young Edwin stared up at a kindly face that he didn't recognize. Edwin could see her eyes now. They were brown almost like her hair which tumbled past her shoulders. She was short of stature and from what he could see, the youthful wench was perhaps a bit pretty although not much beyond plain. It was difficult to tell in the dim light.

Edwin's voice dripped with quiet sarcasm. "It would seem that I must need look for new quarters. I've been just given the bum's rush by gentleman Jack and whore son Harry."

Kate snorted, "Oh those two! You're well rid of them, I'll be bound. So ...
