The queue in front of Katie inched forward and she sighed with exasperation. The plane had landed over an hour ago and the idea of a comfortable bed and some sleep were all she could think about. She'd heard horror stories about the Immigration control at US airports but the reality was far worse and all she wanted was to remove the high heeled boots that were gradually numbing her feet, take off the tight skirt that had turned out to be a bad idea and collapse into something soft.

Besides, she felt nervous. She'd packed something in her suitcase that even she couldn't believe she'd brought with her. It had been a joke, a silly gossip over a bottle of wine with her best friend a few nights before her planned business trip to San Francisco and they'd both collapsed into giggles when Katie suggested it. ...
