The snow was a gift; hardly any had fallen that year. Great big flakes dropping from the sky, coating all within the storms reach in a cold white blanket. What a wonderful blanket it was, sweeping the landscape in a glittery crystal sheen. Nestled within the drifts of snow a small cabin sat just big enough for two. Twists of smoke curled from the chimney to disappear against the silvery clouded sky.

Within the dark wooded walls of the cabin the two lay. Warmth seeped into every corner, coating the room in a glow, a wondrous content radiance. Stretched out, mirroring each other in front of the blazing orange fire they were. The flickering flames cast long shadows caressing each of their features.
