The Lifeguards

The year had flown by so quickly, and I didn't get to enjoy the summer months as much as I would've liked. I was looking forward to the 2-week holiday shut-down at work, and my planned trip to the Bahamas. I am alone in the world, and have no family to spend the holidays with. I was an only child, and both my parents were killed in a car accident, when I was 18.
