Leaving the kids at my mother-inlaws we head out to the pontoon boat for a sunset cruise around the lake. I'd already thrown a cooler of Corona Light beers on the boat along with a couple of blankets.

We had picked a week night so there wouldn't be as many boats on the water as it is on the weekends. It can get real crowded during the weekend and for what we had planned we didn't want a huge crowd.

Motoring up the lake we came to one of my favorite spots. It is a cliff face and no houses for a couple hundred yards in either direction. My wife had already drank one beer while I finished getting the boat going and was now popping the top on her second. Popping the top of my own I laid back on the long bench and asked my wife to come lay with me. She smiled that knowing smile and came and lay between my legs. We snuggled close, enjoying the sun about to set. The cold beer and being in each others arms.

A boat was coming close and seemed to slow down like they might stop. There was a couple on board and they raised their glasses in a silent toast as the slowly cruised past. We suspect they were out for the same reasons as us. Beautiful scenery, cool drinks and hot loving!
