My name is Paige Marshall, and I was born on the 13th June 1980. As I write this it's February 2007, but I'll start my story a little over two years ago, on the day my life changed direction in a huge way.

It was Friday January 14th 2005, and it didn't start out like it was going to be a momentous day. Amazing how something as simple as a coach journey can change your life.

I was 24 at the time, and back then I'd only had three lovers in my life. I'd been going out with Jerry for three years, and we had a flat together in an ok area of Manchester. I was from Leicester originally, but after studying at Manchester University I fell in love with the place, and local boy Jerry, so it seemed daft to leave.

Everything had been going great, I had a low level but up and coming job as a secretary with a law firm (English degrees, what are they good for?) and Jerry had a fantastic job with a large multinational, so we were comfortably off.
