Phoenix

I was never what one could call beautiful or attractive to be honest I was just the opposite. I was raised in a family where I was the one girl out of five children on a lonely farm in the middle of a very big countryside in rural England. My father obviously farmed and as we were his children we were expected and did assist him doing all manners of chores from milking to haymaking.

To be honest it wasn't all that bad especially during the long hot summer months. Whilst other kids were stuck inside their terraced brick homes coughing up dirt and grime gathered in their chests from countless gas guzzling vehicles we were romping through the hay and getting a free sun tan.

I was always a skinny girl with long ringlets of golden hair that fell dishevelled down my back. I'm Gina by the way and being the last in the line of children I was classed as the baby which I hated so I became bit of a tomboy and fought with my brothers at every opportunity trying to stake a piece of dignity within the group.

It was the same when I went to school. I didn't care much for the way I looked or dressed which got me harassed by the other children and therefore left me friendless?...well almost.
