. Chapter 2 - The Party

The next day, and the rest of the week, seemed to fly by as I spent my days studying the layout of the building for camera locations, loading new software, and setting up my surveillance room.

After everybody was gone at about 5:30 I would spend my evenings installing the new programs, running wires, and placing cameras throughout the building.

When I got to Brad's office I debated whether to put surveillance in there, but I finally decided to do what he had demanded and not place anybody - even him - above suspicion.

The cameras I was using were state of the art, and by locating one in the return air duct behind Brad's desk it was almost like being in the room. I could put it on wide angle to see the entire room, or, if I was sitting at the control station I had set up, I was able move the camera enough to pan and focus on every square foot of the office from the front of Brad's desk to the windows, including the sitting area where we had sipped whiskey a few days earlier.

They also had incredible 20X zoom capability, and I was able to focus on writing on a sheet of paper lying on the coffee table.
