The Utopian dream.

Lying in the pod feeling my eyes flicker wildly like being disturbed from a weird nightmare as the cold air blew gently across my body, the last I could remember was being taken to hospital with the mother of all headaches.

Looking through the glass of the pod, I was no wiser what was going on, I was in a large room with fancy lighting, the walls looked like something out of a futuristic film as small panels flashed gently.

The sudden movement of the glass above me as it arced over to my left allowing the warm air to rush in onto my now cold body as I finally started to piece together everything I could remember.

"Hello John" a beautiful young blonde woman said as she entered the sliding door to my left as I looked bewildered at the black trousers and top with a small badge pinned to her chest.

My head felt like I had been swimming and had managed to get water into my brain as I nodded wearily as she gave a gentle smile then tapped at the flashing panel at the side of my bed.
