Excitement in the Suburbs

An unexpected encounter in a gym locker room out in middle-class suburbia.

I'm gay and I live out in the suburbs on the outskirts of a large city with my long time partner, well away from the cruising and quick pick-ups that I'm told are quite typical in inner city gyms, especially those that cater to the gay community, so I was rather shocked to find out that these activities also take place buried out in the middle of middle class suburbia in a neighborhood that is by and large populated by growing families.

Our development has a really nice sports complex to serve our community. It was one of the reasons we decided to move into this neighborhood when my partner and I decided to settle down together and nest. Away from the seedy side of the city that is lurking behind every corner ready to cater to just about any and every dark need a person might have. From the on the go who just want a one night stand once in awhile, or the single ‘in search of' but hasn't found the perfect one yet and wants a warm body for the night, or just a few minutes in an out of the way corner.
