Passion in Crystal Falls By Valerie Sebring A short story

"Michelle, why don't you plan on spending the night tomorrow? I do have a guestroom. It will be fun. We'll do dinner and drinks; who knows what else," Teri let out a sexy chuckle.

"Great! I'll see you tomorrow morning!" Michelle smiled widely as she hung up the telephone. There was something about Teri that intrigued her. Something inside of her said that her humdrum life was about to spice up. She would travel north to Crystal Falls late this afternoon and stay overnight. The drive would take her four hours and she wanted to be alert for her 9:00 am meeting with Teri, the editor of a major newspaper. Her friend Jeff hooked her up for a freelance writing assignment with the paper. If she excelled at this assignment, more would follow.

After tying up loose ends at home, Michelle climbed into her sporty purple mustang and began her trip. She thought about the few conversations she had had with Teri about her assignment. Teri had such a sensual voice. It was as if she had flirted with Michelle. Could she have taken her intentions erroneously? Maybe Teri was just a friendly woman. Maybe Michelle's bicuriosity was making her imagine things. Still, she hoped that her fantasies would soon come to fruition. ...
