Lieutenant Flarity was in a quandary. To his amazement, he was in the middle of a hush, hush investigation and by the coroner's own admission, there was no murder committed. He was working closely with the Medical Information Bureau along with a tough looking mug from the CIA.

Tom was sitting in front of his television, speaking to his wife while CNN droned on. Lou Dobbs was doing another crucifixion job on government stupidity. There must have been a lot of it because Lou always had something new and even more outrageous to rave about, every single week night.

He looked over to his nearest and dearest. "I just don't understand this Marge. I've been working fifty hours a week trying to track down some guy with a weird blood sample. You'd think he was from fucking Mars or something."

Marge grimaced and momentarily shut her warm, brown eyes. "I suppose that means you'll be out again tomorrow."

Another Saturday was about to get the ax. Tom sighed, "Yes, because I have a few other actual murder cases to keep up on as well. It's what I get paid for." ...
