Over the past months, I've gotten quite a few inquiries about how to write better erotic fiction. So here is some advice that my fans and fellow budding authors might find helpful. However let me say up front that my comments below are just a guideline or perhaps a presentation of ideas that might help you get focused on developing a better work of written art.

The Story:

It begins with reality and detail. It always helps to do some research about what you intend to write about. Readers like those extra details that put them in the middle of the scene. It might be a famous fashion design costume or there might be an important CNN announcement going on while the couple do each other. You might be writing about a historic period and accurate details about the type of silver ware and pottery is useful to add realism to the story. Many of my stories and novels have required either a knowledge of history or some reasonable amount of research to make that story live. Don't worry, you can find a great deal on the World Wide Web. I'm currently working on an Egyptian novel and I got a lot of info right from the net. You don't have to write a documentary. You just need enough details and accurate thoughts about the time period to make the story work. For instance during world war two, both the reader and the writer should know that all airplanes used ...
