Chapter Two

Tim finished two more cans of beer and then decided it was time to leave. He pulled the directions that Carol had given him out and studied them. When he got to his car he compared the directions to the map. It looked like her place would be easy enough to find.

He pulled out of the parking lot and headed to the West Side of town. 'Nice neighborhood' he thought to himself, as he passed the upper class rural houses with their manicured lawns and fancy cars. At least the ones he could see, that weren't parked inside huge two and three car garages.

He pulled up into the driveway of the address Carol had given him. It was a large two-story house. There was an old man working out in the yard.

"Is Carol here?" he asked the old man.

"Yes sir. She is in the house." He answered.

Tim walked up to the front door and rang the doorbell. He waited for a minute and then rang it again. The doorbell sounded like someone was ...
