By now you know me as the Compulsive Shopper, and I certainly am. But I don't only satisfy my compulsions via home delivery. I do it wherever and however I'm able. Let me tell you the story of my most recent flight.

I was flying between Los Angeles and New York, which is about a five and a half hour flight. I had just finished an exhausting trip; I was visiting friends in New York, and of course I did quite a bit of fucking around in New York while I was there, but that's not the story for today. The point is, I was drained beyond belief, and I intended to sleep throughout the duration of that flight back to LA.

Nevertheless, being the hopelessly vain bitch that I am, I dressed smartly. I wore a black Bassant suit, one of my favorite makers. French makers, like Italian ones, seem to do very well for me because they understand that women are not built like men. It seems a simple point to make, but if you have any kind of hourglass figure and you want a suit to cling in all of the right ways, I recommend a French or Italian maker (with a very few notable exceptions). The suit fit me perfectly, and it showed off just the right amount of cleavage, which to me is enough that I don't have to bend over to make anyone stare (although of course that's certainly an option). The suit has two rows of buttons on the bodice, each curving inwards toward the thinnest part of the waist, which faintly suggests corsetry despite the conservative style of a suit. Perfect. And the skirt, though it breaks just above ...
